ASHIATSU

Ashiatsu is a Japanese word that means “foot” (ashi) “pressure” (atsu). It is a barefoot massage technique that has been performed for thousands of years, with roots in Asia and India. Using bars to control weight/pressure, therapists massage clients with the soles of the foot to apply a deep, broad pressure. Recipients of this massage simply call the technique “heaven.”
