Growing up in Pennsylvania, I have always had a passion for bodywork and a fascination with the ability we have to heal through touch. In 2014, I graduated from Health Works Institute, where I was trained in Swedish massage, neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, pre-natal massage, sports massage, deep tissue massage and hot stone massage. I then attained my national certification shorty after. I have completed continuing education credits in myofascial release and treatment work for sciaticia. My favorite part of massage therapy is working one-on-one with clients and having the ability to change their lives, whether it be in reduction of pain or stress. At Canyon River, I get to work in a supportive team environment, working with a product line that I strongly believe in. Aveda does not test on animals, is made with pure plant extracts, and the company does a lot for the environment, which is really important to me. I specialize in deep tissue, sports massage, trigger-point therapy, and massage for stress reduction. In my free time, you can find me up in the mountains, trail running, snowboarding, hiking, camping and rollerblading. My best friend, Luna, my dog, is always right there with me.
